Denim + Cameo

Dress: Cameo
Jacket: ebay
Shoes: Rubi (similar here)
Ring: Diva (similar here)

So happy to be back doing my fashion posts – sorry it’s been so long. I’ll keep this short (like my shirt dress), but I love love love this jacket. It’s not the most expensive jacket in the world  ($60) so I kind of bought it in black too. I think I like the black more (I’ll post it soon), but the blue is a bit fun. I just think the shape is amazing – the power shoulder detail, the feature around the hip, the panelled stitching, the exaggerated collar – it’s all so flattering and chic. I highly recommend as a staple if you’ve got a bit of rock ‘n’ roll in you!  Happy Wednesday xx

Cameo + Hotel

How nice is it to stay at a hotel? Even only for a night or two, even if it’s only down the road from where you live? It’s just so nice to get away and pretend you’re on a mini-holiday. That’s exactly what Dale and I did this past weekend and it was so fun. We were completely touristy (even though we’ve been to Sydney many times) going to see the harbour bridge and the opera house and we even had a ride on the ferris wheel at Luna Park. But then back at the Hotel in the daytime (while Dale was on the Mitre 10 road trip), I played dress ups in our room! I’m really into these neutral colours with the rose gold elements – a little on the futuristic side which is a bit fun. It was really lovely being in Sydney this weekend and I’m looking forward to heading back there for the Block Allstars auction this week! Woo Hoo! xx

P.S. I’m really excited to be adding a bloglovin’ button to the blog this week but if you already have a bloglovin’ account (and if you don’t, you really need to get on it to keep track on your fav blogs), you can add mine here. Thanks in advance guys! xx

Finders Keepers are releasing some amazing pieces this season (like every season) and I just love how easy their clothes are to wear. I love this dress in particular because it’s a great twist on the current mirrored floral baroque trend that’s sweeping our runways. Instead of doing a crazy bright floral, they’ve opted for a black and white print with a beautiful bright neon coral at the back and on the sleeves to balance the print and make the dress a real ‘look at me’ statement! To lift the dress out of its casual status, I’ve glammed it up with a real staple gold jacket from Forever New and a sequin clutch from theiconic.com.au. I love a piece that can be dressed up or down – you really get your money’s worth! xx

P.S. On a different note. You must check out this blog: almostfame - it’s so cute! Seems I’m inspiring some mini fashionistas in the making… xx

Cameo + Bling

Shirt: Cameo (dress with same print here)
Skirt: Maurie and Eve
Bag: Topshop
Belt: Life With Bird (old) similar here
Necklaces: Rubi (cluster of 5 pieces)

Sorry I’ve been MIA for the past week – crazy busy! I’m really excited to share this look with you guys though. Obviously I’m still in love with my Maurie and Eve polka dot skirt as I’ve been rocking it a bit, but I’m really loving this new Cameo baroque shirt with the crazy over-the-top bling cluster. As the weather has started to cool (slightly) this week, I’ve been getting really excited about long sleeves. This outfit is a compromise of the current weather – long sleeves, but legs out! Can’t believe I’m kind of looking forward winter – never thought that would happen! xx

Have a great weekend guys! xx
