So sorry I’ve been MIA the past couple of weeks – there has been so much on. We opened a pop-up store in Adelaide, it was Easter and Dale and I moved into our first home (blog post will be coming soon).
I had an absolute ball putting this store together (from concept to opening day) with a lot of amazing help from the VM girls and the store staff. It was a big job, on a tiny budget, but hey, I’m used to that. Check out how we made it happen…

This is the concept I came up with many weeks ago. I really wanted to create a pop up store that literally looked like it has just dropped in – dropped in at a moment’s notice, and then packed up and disappeared just as quickly as it arrived. And there came the parachute and shipping crate concept…

This was what the store looked like when we arrived – pretty plain and very ‘sterile’ looking (not the typo look). We had just 72 hours to turn this space into an amazing Typo Drop In. What a challenge…

Some of the guys from the VM team putting the finishing touches on some of the ‘Drop In’ elements. Looking good guys!

The finished store. I had so much fun putting all the elements together – the counter certainly took me to longest, but I love the effect of the final result. Of course it isn’t a typo store without our amazing product and the store staff along with the VM team worked tirelessly to unpack box after box of our fabulous stock until the store was full. It looks great – I want to buy it all!
A great couple of days, an even better result, all thanks to the Typo team. Good job everyone and bring on the next one!!! If you happen to be in Adelaide, make sure you check out the store before it packs up…
